Last year I did what ended up being a series of shows and podcasts for The Wake Up Call that focused on food allergies in kids.
On the first show, our guest was Dr. Allan Stillerman of Allergy & Asthma Specialists (with locations in Minneapolis, Maple Grove and Plymouth). We chatted about just what an allergy is, what it isn’t, how prevalent they are, the top food allergies, how they are diagnosed and what are some of the treatment options out there.
We were also joined by Missy Berggren. Missy is a mother of a young child with a food allergy and we got a chance to hear from her about the first time she had to treat her child using an EpiPen.
