It was Bonnie’s first time backpacking, and we weren’t going to let grey skies get in our way! A short, but very enjoyable trip along the PCT to Sheep Lake.
On top of having three national parks in the state of Washington, we’ve also got wonderful places such as Mt. St Helen’s National Volcanic Monument to explore. And that’s where we headed today. I can’t think of a better way...

There is one recurring … fear and frustration that dogs many people who have had bariatric surgery (aka weight loss surgery). I’ve heard it from patients online, in various support groups I’ve attended/facilitated/led, as well as while at various obesity related events. It’s this perception that using surgery to get to a healthier weight is “taking the easy way out”.
