Classes & Workshops

In addition to working with individuals on the road to better health, I also offer some group classes and workshops. Many of these can also be scheduled privately for small groups.

Smart Shopping – In an ideal world, we would all be eating nothing but whole foods. But the reality is, we often turn to packaged foods for preparing meals for ourselves and our families. My Smart Shopping class is designed give you the knowledge and confidence you need to make better choices, to navigate the blitz of buzz words, flashy packaging and health-washing we find in our grocery store aisles. Healthy Eating Challenge – Gyms, clubs and “smoothie shops” frequently hold various sorts of “weight loss challenges”. While losing weight is often a key part of getting healthier, it shouldn’t always be the primary focus. My Healthy Eating Challenge is a better alternative. This small-group class meets weekly for 7 weeks and is designed to give you real-world, healthy-eating practices you can put to use right away, and one great side effect of healthy eating tends to be getting to a healthier weight. As part of my health coaching, I will never tell you that “in order to do X, you must buy Y”, well – unless you want to lump buying whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains and such in that category.

And even though I have my own favorite products when it comes to things like supplements, vitamins, and more – I’m not going to tell you that in order to meet your goals you must use the same products I do.

However, from time to time, I will talk about products I use, products I like, products I trust, or even books I’ve read. And sometimes, yes, should you decide to purchase those products – I may even make a bit of money from the sale. It may be an affiliate link online, or a product from a company I have a working relationship with.

If any of my clients have concerns about that, I will gladly help you purchase the product from an alternative source or help you find an alternative product. After all, just because I personally like a product – it doesn’t mean you’ll have the same experience I do. And the bottom line is, I’m here to help you find the path that works best for you in living a Positively Healthy life.
